Problem: Water and wastewater infrastructure in need of maintenance: cleaning, painting, and concrete repair.

CMT Solution: We started with cleaning the clearwell and grinding out the cracks. The cracks were repaired and filled with a mesh before coating with a flexible concrete waterproofer and top coating with a high performance acrylic. Next we cleaned and painted two steel ground storage tanks, the interior steel infrastructure of both water treatment plants including all the piping and tanks. Finally we completed the exterior concrete repair work at the Tallulah WTP, and painted the building at the WWTP.

CMT worked with the Town of Robbinsville to completely upgrade all the water and wastewater facilities. In addition to the town staff being pleased with the much needed upgrades we completed, the NC Department of Natural Resources representative was also happy with the improvements.
