Problem: Sedimentation basins were leaking and the concrete was in poor condition.

CMT Solution: By water jetting we cleaned the surface, then we repaired the concrete using mortar. The overflow pipes were hand tool cleaned and we coated the basins and the overflow piping with an NSF approved epoxy lining system.

The facility owners goal was to make their old water plant last as long as possible. By restoring the concrete CMT helped to save the structure and keep the water from corroding the rebar in the walls. Additionally, we were able to stop the leaks. Ultimately, we protected the structure’s integrity and extended the life of the plant.
